by Admin

The Federal Government has announced Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, as public holidays for this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made this known in a statement on Wednesday, March 26, through the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Magdalene Ajani.

He congratulated all Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

Eid-el-Fitr is a festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide after fasting for 29 or 30 days during the holy month of Ramadan.
