FIFA President Gianni Infantino and CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe have joined others in celebrating Amaju Pinnick, a FIFA Council member and former President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on his 54th birthday today.
FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström also conveyed his wishes, stating, “On this most special of days, I wish you a world of happiness, good health and great success for the year ahead. May you celebrate your 54th birthday with beloved family and friends as you continue to inspire all around you with your positivity and love for our beautiful game. I look forward to congratulating you in person very soon and sharing more special moments of triumph and newly achieved goals together!”
Infantino, in his letter, said, “Happy birthday! Dear Amaju, I would like to extend my best wishes to you on this very special day. As we celebrate your birthday, it is the occasion to reflect on our collaboration and to thank you for all your work and for your contribution within the FIFA Council to the development of the sport that unites us all, football. May this year bring you good health, joy, success and fulfilment on both a personal and professional level.”
Dr. Motsepe, CAF President, wrote, “My dear Brother Amaju, happy birthday and may God fulfil all your wishes and dreams. We are fortunate and blessed in Nigerian Football and in African Football to have an experienced and respected leader like yourself. Thank you for your contributions and excellent leadership in the CAF EXCO and FIFA Council.”
Pinnick, who served as NFF President from 2014 to 2022, continues to be celebrated for his contributions to football both in Nigeria and internationally.
