Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has responded to swirling rumours linking him with a move to Serie A giants Juventus.
Currently enjoying a standout loan spell at Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen’s goal-scoring exploits have drawn attention from major European clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus. With a decision on his future expected by the end of the season, fans and pundits alike are watching closely.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb on Friday, Osimhen acknowledged the speculation but said he remains focused on the present moment:
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment. Right now, I’m just enjoying it all. The fans have shown me incredible support — not just for me, but also for my teammates and my family. Whatever happens, the best decision will be made for everyone. But Galatasaray will always remain in my heart.”
The Nigerian forward’s sensational form continued on Friday as he scored his 17th goal of 2025 in Galatasaray’s match against Samsunspor, drawing level with Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres in joint-third place among Europe’s top scorers this year.
Osimhen now surpasses the likes of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (14 goals) and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy (13 goals), with only PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé (24 goals) and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé (19 goals) ahead of him.
His latest strike came in a crucial fixture as Galatasaray aimed to protect their narrow three-point lead in the Turkish Super Lig following a tough derby loss to Besiktas.
