Allegedly, Dr. Tijion Esho, a Nigerian doctor practicing in the United Kingdom, has had his medical licenses revoked after purportedly engaging in offering complimentary Botox injections in return for sexual favors, as reported by the Telegraph. Renowned for his expertise in cosmetic surgery, Esho was a frequent guest on popular TV programs like ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers.
He is also recognized as the founder of the Esho Clinic, with branches in London, Liverpool, and Dubai, serving a clientele that includes celebrities. During a hearing conducted by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, Esho confessed to an inappropriate emotional relationship with a woman identified as Patient A, involving the exchange of improper messages on Instagram.
Despite his denial of physical sexual contact, the tribunal reached a different conclusion, citing instances of sexual intercourse with Patient A at his Newcastle upon Tyne clinic and the provision of complimentary Botox injections. They also highlighted inappropriate remarks and sexual encounters during consultations.
Consequently, due to his misconduct, the tribunal deemed Esho unfit to continue practicing medicine, resulting in the removal of his name from the medical register. Further details regarding this decision will be made available next week.
Evidence presented during the proceedings included inappropriate messages exchanged over several years, suggesting Esho’s sexual motivations. However, the tribunal did not consider Patient A vulnerable due to her profession.
Botox injections, commonly utilized for cosmetic enhancements and treating medical conditions like migraines, typically necessitate repeated treatments every three to six months for sustained results.
