Famous Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has shared that she was raped five times throughout her life.
Speaking on her strong stance against rape, Ojo made it clear in a recent interview on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast that she is unapologetic about her position.
Reflecting on her traumatic experiences, Ojo also opened up about her complex family background. “I was raped five times in my life. I discovered we have a lot of rape apologists,” she said.
She further emphasized, “I do not care who the person is, even if it’s my son, I’m going to come for him unapologetically.”
Ojo also discussed her upbringing, revealing, “I grew up with my grandmother. It was seven years before I knew my mother. My dad did everything, both alcohol and drugs, so it messed him up at a young age.”
