Liverpool have officially secured the Premier League title following a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The match at Anfield saw Liverpool come from behind after Dominic Solanke gave Tottenham the lead in the 12th minute, assisted by James Maddison.
Liverpool responded quickly, equalising just four minutes later as Luis Díaz found the net in the 16th minute, set up by Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Reds continued to take control, with Alexis Mac Allister putting them ahead 2-1 in the 24th minute after an assist from Ryan Gravenberch. Cody Gakpo then added a third in the 34th minute, although he later received a yellow card.
Liverpool went into halftime with a 3-1 advantage and continued to press after the break. Mohamed Salah extended the lead to 4-1 in the 63rd minute, once again assisted by Szoboszlai.
The win was sealed when Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie scored an own goal in the 69th minute, making it 5-1 to Liverpool.
Late yellow cards were shown to Harvey Elliott and Tottenham’s Richarlison deep into added time.
