Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year contract with Liverpool, putting an end to months of speculation about his future and committing to stay at Anfield until 2027.
With his previous deal set to expire this summer, the 32-year-old Egyptian forward had been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia.
However, Salah—who has tallied 243 goals and 109 assists in 394 appearances for the Reds—has chosen to remain, eyeing more trophies with the club. He’s already netted 32 goals this season, 27 of them in the Premier League, as Liverpool edge closer to their 20th league title.
Salah expressed his contentment, saying he’s “enjoying life and football” at the club where he’s experienced the peak of his career.
