Music executive Paul Okoye, known as Paulo, has criticised human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju for accusing Nigerian singer Burna Boy (Damini Ogulu) of oppressing fellow artist Speed Darlington.
Speed Darlington was recently arrested by officers from the Imo State Command of the Nigeria Police Force in Owerri, marking his second arrest following an earlier incident on October 4. He was released on bail on October 9 after five days in detention.
On X, Adeyanju alleged that Burna Boy was behind Speed Darlington’s recent arrest.
In response, Paulo took to Instagram on Wednesday, calling the activist a “social media lawyer” for involving Burna Boy. He wrote: “Lawyer Deji or whatever they call you, can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name? Why are you even mentioning Burna Boy’s name?”
