Ghanaian sensation Stonebwoy is set to headline the closing ceremony of the 13th African Games in Accra, as revealed by the Organizing Committee of the 2023 African Games.
The lineup for the closing ceremony boasts a diverse array of performers from across the continent, including acclaimed Afro dancehall artist Stonebwoy. Joining him are Wiyaala, representing Ghana, Stanley Enow from Cameroon, Innoss’b from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Emma’a from Gabon.
The closing ceremony is scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on March 23, 2024. The African Games 2023, which kicked off on March 8, 2024, has been a resounding success thus far.
The opening ceremonies featured captivating performances from iconic Ghanaian music figures such as Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, Shatta Wale, and King Promise, along with South African singer and dancer Kamo Mphela.
With 5000 elite athletes and coaches representing fifty-five African nations competing across twenty-nine selected sports disciplines, the 13th edition of the African Games has showcased thrilling displays of athleticism and skill throughout its duration.

In an interview with Voice of America, the musical sensation emphasized his dedication to showcasing Ghana through unforgettable performances. Notably, Stonebwoy reached a significant milestone in 2023 by selling out a 40,000-seater arena, an accomplishment he deeply values.
