President Donald Trump has revealed plans to continue working with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The announcement was made during a meeting with his cabinet on Thursday at the White House.
Attendees included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, other departmental secretaries, and tech billionaire Elon Musk, the special government employee leading DOGE. Trump expressed his admiration for the work DOGE has been doing and his desire to retain its talented team.
After hearing Musk’s remarks, Trump said, “Your team is fantastic. We hope they’ll stay for the long term. We want to keep as many as possible. They’re smart, sharp, innovative, and incredibly tech-savvy.”
