A 26-year-old Nigerian woman named Victoria has died in the United Kingdom after suffering a seizure.
The Nigerians in the UK Community confirmed the tragic news in a statement on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Victoria, who came to the UK as a Master’s student studying MSc Cyber Security, passed away on July 4, 2024.
“Dear Nigerians in the UK, we’re deeply saddened by the loss of a Nigerian in the UK who passed away on the 4th of July,” the statement read.
“Victoria came to the UK as a Master’s student studying MSc Cyber Security. At just 26 years old, she was a vibrant and joyful soul, full of life and dreams. Her beautiful smile was contagious and created a loving atmosphere for all within her presence.
“She tragically passed away following a seizure. She has no family in the UK. Let us come together as a community and support her family in this difficult time. Any help you can provide to get her body back to her family in Nigeria will be deeply appreciated.
“Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant difference during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.”
