‘Lies na water’ – Denilson Igwe doubts Mark Angel’s claim of losing $3.7M trading forex

by Admin

Content creator Denilson Igwe has publicly questioned his estranged collaborator Mark Angel’s claim of losing $3.7 million (6 billion naira) in forex trading.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Mark Angel described 2024 as the most challenging year of his life, revealing the significant financial loss he incurred. The post drew a considerable amount of sympathy online from fans and followers.

However, Denilson Igwe hinted that Mark’s claims were fabricated. Reacting on Instagram, he wrote, ‘Lies na water. Some people are just worse than the devil.’

This reaction comes against the backdrop of their fallout, where Denilson Igwe, in early 2024, accused Mark Angel of diverting the comedy team’s streaming revenues into his personal accounts. Igwe alleged that Mark paid team members peanuts while raking in millions from streaming platforms.

The skitmaker’s recent claim has reignited the tensions between the former collaborators, with Igwe’s remark casting doubt on the authenticity of Mark Angel’s financial struggles.
