Trevor Noah set to host the 2025 Grammy Awards.

by Admin

The Grammy Awards have announced that Trevor Noah will host the show for the fifth consecutive time.

Noah will make history as the first comedian to host the ceremony five times. Previously, only musical artists have reached this milestone, with Andy Williams hosting seven times, John Denver six times, and LL Cool J also hosting five.

“@TrevorNoah is set to take us into Music’s Biggest Night to honour music and amplify support for the music community impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires,” the Recording Academy shared on social media.

The 67th annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 2, with a “renewed sense of purpose” following the devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles in early January. The academy has stated that this year’s show will raise funds for wildfire relief efforts and honour the first responders fighting the flames.

Beyoncé leads the nominations with 11, thanks to her venture into country music with the album COWBOY CARTER, released on March 29, 2024.

Other top nominees include Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone, each with seven nominations. Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift follow closely with six nods each. The event will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
