Pop star Justin Bieber has fired back at reports suggesting he’s broke.
In a statement released by his team on Wednesday, the 31-year-old dismissed the claims as “clickbait stupidity,” insisting they stem from individuals “disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”
The response comes after a Hollywood Reporter article quoted a former team member alleging Bieber was millions of dollars in debt—claims his camp firmly denies.
“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” the statement, shared with Us Weekly, reads. “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”
The reports surface amid the cancellation of Bieber’s Justice World Tour, which had faced multiple delays. Originally slated for 2020, the tour was first postponed due to the pandemic, and again in 2022 after Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis. In March 2023, he officially cancelled the remaining dates.
