Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, has passed away at the age of 34. The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed his death.
According to TMZ, Quan was discovered unresponsive on the couch by his girlfriend when she returned home. After noticing that he was foaming at the mouth, she immediately called 911.
Rich Homie Quan made a significant impact on the music scene in 2013 with his breakout hit, “Type of Way.” He continued to captivate fans with tracks like “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out.” Throughout his career, he collaborated with industry giants such as 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, and Trinidad James.
