Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is facing allegations of harassment from her former cameraman, who claims she forced him to watch her engage in sexual activity.
Emilio Garcia filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, stating that after the incident, he was warned not to discuss what he witnessed and was mistreated by Megan, including being fat-shamed. Garcia began working for Megan Thee Stallion in 2018 and transitioned to full-time work with her in 2019, continuing until June 2023.
The lawsuit recounts an incident in June 2022, during a tour in Ibiza, Spain, where Garcia found himself in an uncomfortable situation when Megan and another woman began having sex next to him in a moving SUV. Garcia claims he was unable to leave the car and felt embarrassed and offended throughout the ordeal.
The next day, Megan allegedly instructed him not to discuss what he saw and proceeded to fat-shame him. The lawsuit, filed on April 23, accuses Megan Thee Stallion of harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Megan Thee Stallion has not yet responded to these accusations. This legal action follows shortly after Megan was honored at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s Spring Into Action gala.
