Nigerian vocalist Joe El Amadi has stepped into the ongoing feud between his colleagues, Burna Boy and Davido. In a recent episode of the ‘Real Ish’ podcast, Joe El likened Burna Boy’s behavior to that of controversial veteran singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, suggesting that Burna Boy is escalating his disagreement with Davido excessively.
Expressing his viewpoint, Joe El remarked, “Burna Boy is reminiscent of a younger version of how Eedris Abdulkareem used to handle matters. In my opinion, Burna Boy is taking his rivalry with Davido too far. Davido is known for his affectionate nature.”
Joe El also criticized Burna Boy for his contentious assertion that no one paved the way in the Nigerian music industry, emphasizing that certain individuals have made significant sacrifices to elevate Afrobeats to its current prominence.
