U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the men’s US Open final in New York on Sunday, a White House official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday night.
The match will take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens, though the finalists are yet to be decided. No American men remain in the tournament after Taylor Fritz, the last hope, was eliminated earlier.
Friday’s semifinals will decide the contenders: Novak Djokovic faces Carlos Alcaraz, while Jannik Sinner meets Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Since returning to the White House, Trump has been a regular at major sporting events. In July, he attended the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in New Jersey, where he joined Chelsea FC on the field to celebrate their win. He also attended the Super Bowl in February, when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, and a UFC event in April with senior officials from his administration.
