An Egyptian national has died after collapsing at a hotel in Abuja.
The deceased, identified as 56-year-old Mohammed Saleh, reportedly slumped while having dinner with three others at the Abuja Intercontinental Hotel, Wuse Zone 4, on Friday night, September 5, 2025, according to sources who spoke with security analyst Zagazola Makama.
The hotel’s Security Supervisor, Francis Yusuf, said the incident was reported to the Wuse Police Division at about 9:24 p.m. on Friday.
Saleh was rushed to Kings Care Hospital, Wuse Zone 4, and later referred to Wuse District Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
His body has since been deposited at the hospital morgue for a possible autopsy.
