Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has declared that she will not remain in any situation—whether a relationship, platform, or conversation—that forces her to abandon her true self.
The music star emphasised that she is done adjusting herself to fit into situations.
Sharing her thoughts via her X handle on Monday, she wrote: “I’m not staying. In a room, a convo, a relationship, a platform, or anywhere at all that requires me to abandon my true self. I’m done with that!”
DJ Cuppy has been open about her desire to find love again and her preferences in a partner.
Her last public relationship was her engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor. The pair ended things in July 2023, just seven months after their surprise engagement in November 2022.
