Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated Netflix lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan,” has been postponed by three months due to the devastating wildfire currently affecting Los Angeles, Netflix announced. The series, which was originally set to premiere this Wednesday, features the Duchess of Sussex participating in activities like cooking, gardening, crafting, and hosting gatherings.
In a statement released late Sunday, Netflix confirmed that the delay was made at Markle’s request, with the new premiere date now set for March 4.
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Markle said in a statement on Monday.
A trailer for “With Love, Meghan” showed Markle cooking in her kitchen, arranging flowers, trying her hand at beekeeping, and spending time with famous friends.
Last week, Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, visited a meal distribution site for people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
The couple resides in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, about 145 kilometers from Los Angeles.
