Nigerian lady becomes the first to bag (MEng) in Printed Intelligence from Oulu University of Applied Sciences

One of the Master’s Degree programmes of Oulu University of Applied Sciences is Printed Intelligence, and Nigerian-born Joan Itohan Uwe is the first graduate.  In the Master’s Degree Programme,  students get to familiarise themselves with the designing and application of printed intelligence.

The printed technology is utilized in more and more fields, such as construction, automotive and healthcare technologies. Printed intelligence can be used in sensors, rapid diagnostics, control panels and smart clothes.

According to Printocent newsletter, it took Joan less than a year to complete all the studies and she now has the Master’s degree in Engineering (MEng), Printed Intelligence.

Joan Itohan Uwe

Joan is a graduate of Civil Engineering from the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria before moving to Finland about a decade ago.

Currently, Joan is looking to pursue her career in the field of printed intelligent, on health tech, rapid diagnosis and has started her own company exporting these technologies.
