Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award after yet another outstanding season.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced a 10-man shortlist on Wednesday for the 2025 CAF Awards, set to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, for the third consecutive year.
Joining Osimhen on the list are Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain, among other top African stars.
Osimhen, who clinched the prestigious award in 2023, continued his brilliant form this season — scoring 26 league goals to guide Galatasaray to the Turkish Super Lig title. His impressive performances also earned him a record €75 million permanent transfer from Napoli to the Turkish champions.
