England coach Thomas Tuchel has named five Chelsea players in his latest squad, with Trevoh Chalobah receiving his first senior call-up.
According to a statement on Chelsea Football Club’s website on Friday, Chalobah—who has previously featured for England from the Under-16s to the Under-21s—has now earned a place in the senior national team. He joins fellow Blues Reece James, Levi Colwill, Noni Madueke, and Cole Palmer in Tuchel’s second squad as England coach.
The Three Lions are set to face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday, 7 June, in Barcelona, before returning home to take on Senegal in a friendly at the City Ground on Wednesday, 10 June.
“We will have news of other Chelsea players receiving international call-ups in the coming days,” Chelsea added.
