The publisher of Diaspora Glitz Magazine and the founder of Miss Afro Diaspora Finland, Obi-West Utchaychukwu has relocated to the United States according to his Instagram post which was greeted with mixed reactions from his followers.
According to the Nigerian media personality, the reason for relocation is broaden the magazine’s vision and deepen its quest to becoming a formidable magazine within the global African diaspora. He also informed his large followers that he has established an entertainment company that will focus on organizing events and artists promotion.

Obi-West moved to Finland about nine years ago and he has since established himself as a formidable force within the African diaspora of Finland. His influence cuts across different groups and communities in Finland. Diaspora Glitz Magazine was established in 2019 and has maintained consistency and quality. The Nigerian polyglot, also founded the only beauty pageant for young ladies with African heritage called Miss Afro Diaspora Finland. He founded a notable cooking competition in Finland named the African Jollof Rice Challenge.
He won several awards and was honored by the Finnish Parliament members for his role in promoting diversity, equality and inclusion in the society.
