Comedian Dee One has criticised popular social media figure VeryDarkMan for accepting N100 million from Don Jazzy.
Recently, VeryDarkMan revealed that Don Jazzy donated N100 million to his newly launched NGO.
In response, Dee One took to Instagram, accusing VeryDarkMan of “perceived hypocrisy.” He referenced VeryDarkMan’s previous criticism of Don Jazzy for donating money to Bobrisky while in prison. Dee One questioned VeryDarkMan’s integrity, pointing out the shift in his stance after receiving the donation.
Dee One remarked, “You expressed disappointment in Don Jazzy, yet collected money from him. Does this mean Don Jazzy is a good person, regardless of who receives his support?
“When Don Jazzy gave Bobrisky money, VeryDarkMan criticised him, claiming disappointment. Now, after needing funds for his NGO, VeryDarkMan has accepted N100 million from the same Don Jazzy.
“This situation teaches us a valuable lesson: it’s not always necessary to voice every opinion. The same money that was once criticised is now acceptable when it benefits you.”
