A group of 114 #EndBadGovernance protesters, including 30 minors, arrived at the State House Auditorium in Abuja after their release was ordered by President Bola Tinubu on Monday.

They were brought to the venue around 2:00 pm and were welcomed by Vice President Kashim Shettima on behalf of Tinubu to be handed over to their respective state governors.

The release was facilitated by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, following the dismissal of the case against the protesters by Justice Obiora Egwatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja, as requested by the Office of the Attorney-General.

In attendance were Deputy Senate President Jubrin Barau, Chairman of the Committee on Appropriation Abubakar Bichi, and Governors Uba Sani of Kaduna and Abba Yusuf of Kano.

Also present were Ministers of Education Tunji Alausa, Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Nentawe Yilwatda, and Environment Balarabe Lawal, along with Ministers of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Tanko Sununu, and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (Northwest) Abdullahi Yakasai.
