Mohbad: Court Acquits Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and PrimeBoy

by Admin

The Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, has acquitted singer Abdulazeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, of any involvement in the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad.

Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje ruled that Naira Marley had no case to answer.

The court also discharged music promoter Samson Balogun (Sam Larry), Owodunni Ibrahim (PrimeBoy), and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.

However, the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) will proceed with charges against auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe, who treated Mohbad before his passing.

Additionally, Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, will be prosecuted for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251(e) of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.

Both individuals will face trial at the magistrate court.
