Keke Palmer has been clear that she does not plan to live with a romantic partner, even in marriage.
The actress, who shares her 2-year-old son Leodis with ex Darius Jackson, explained on Today that personal space is important to her. Quoting Whoopi Goldberg, she said, “I don’t want nobody in my house.” Still, Keke is open to compromise. She suggested living on the same property but in separate spaces, such as a guest house or even separate rooms, saying, “We can be on the same land, but I’m over there and he’s over there.”
She believes that living apart can keep a relationship fun and exciting, joking about enjoying the idea of visiting her partner’s place rather than sharing one space full-time. Above all, her main focus is her son. Keke said maintaining her own space helps her stay grounded, focused, and be the best version of herself as a parent.
