Renowned Nigerian musician, Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, known by his stage name Seyi Vibez, has shared insights into his early life struggles.

The artist behind the hit track ‘Different Pattern’ reminisced about his challenging upbringing, revealing that at the tender age of 15, his family encouraged him to leave home in pursuit of opportunities to support himself and his loved ones.

During a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos, Vibez candidly opened up about his journey, stating, “I departed home at the age of 15. Life in the ghetto was tough, so I had to forge my own path. Even my own family encouraged me to go. They said, ‘Leave, don’t languish here. It’s preferable for you to venture out and carve a path for yourself.’”

Seyi Vibez rose to prominence after the release of his breakout single ‘Chance (Na Ham)’ in 2022, which propelled him into the limelight.

His remarkable talent was further recognized when he clinched the title of Best Street-Hop Artiste at the 16th Headies Awards in 2023, cementing his status as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene.
