Award-winning artist Burna Boy recently took a light-hearted jab at media personality Daniel Regha after Regha shared a photo of a lavish meal on social media.
Daniel Regha posted an image of his weekend feast, featuring Kilishi and juice, on the X platform, with the caption, “Weekends are for relaxation and enjoyment. Kilishi with some juice, no be me suffer pass…🤗”
In response, Burna Boy humorously countered Regha’s claim, suggesting that Regha might be downplaying his struggles. Burna Boy wrote, “Bro, I no fit lie. Na you suffer pass. No shades.”
The playful exchange between the two amused fans, highlighting Burna Boy’s fun side as he engaged with a well-known media personality.
In another instance, Burna Boy took to social media to clarify a misunderstanding surrounding his recent album release announcement.
On July 29, Burna Boy tweeted, “Album dropping 12am,” which led many fans and media outlets to believe that his new album would be released at midnight on that same day.
However, on Sunday, August 11, Burna Boy clarified that he had only mentioned the time, not the date. In a follow-up tweet, he wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, a valuable lesson on paying attention to detail. I said 12am, I never said what date. No be say I whine una o, Na una Lose guard” (translated as “It’s not me who misled you; it’s you who weren’t paying attention”).
