A postal worker who was brutally attacked in Vantaa dies

A postal worker in Vantaa died from injuries sustained in a brutal attack at around 3.30am this past Thursday. The police said they are investigating the case as a murder.

According to Yle, the mail carrier was taken to the hospital following the attack but later died, the East Uusimaa police said.

Police have so far apprehended one individual who faces a remand hearing on Sunday.

Investigators are asking the public to come forward with any information that may be pertinent to the case, particularly relating to sightings in Vantaa’s Myyrmäki and Kaivoksela areas between 3 and 4am on 17 November.
