Matthew Knowles, the father of pop superstar Beyoncé, shared an interesting insight into her childhood, revealing that she was “shy growing up” but gained confidence when she started singing. He added that her talent and determination “turned everyone around her into a believer.”
Mr. Knowles made this statement while celebrating Beyoncé’s recognition as the greatest popstar of the 21st century by Billboard in a post on X. He expressed that he was not surprised by her achievement, noting that he knew she was “meant for greatness from the moment I held you in my arms for the first time!”
On his X handle, he wrote, “Beyoncé was shy growing up. But, as soon as she started singing, it was like a different person emerged, and we knew from a very young age that she was destined to pursue her passion in music.”
