In his statement, he said:
“It’s high time for Davido to know his worth and stop giving people discounts, especially those who don’t merit it.
Davido should have known that Portable has a track record of insulting everyone he has come in contact with in the industry. Just because Portable found himself in America after previously being denied a visa, he now equates himself with American-born Davido, one of Africa’s greatest.
Davido should stop linking up with people who do not appreciate his kind gestures and magnanimity. The insults hurled at him by Portable, the Nigerian music industry’s bête noire, could have been avoided if he had drawn the line long ago.
Sadly, the ‘UNAVAILABLE’ crooner is now available for all manners of abuse, and they have seen him finished. Beware of those who praise you in the morning and then drag you down in the evening.”
