Nigerian singer Spyro has opened up about his decision to embrace celibacy.
In a recent Instagram post, the 33-year-old musician discussed his internal struggle with premarital sex, admitting that while he found it pleasurable, it left him feeling guilty. After deep reflection and prayer, he decided to cut off all ties that tempted him to continue down that path.
“Sex felt good until I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience,” Spyro wrote.
“Every time I ‘FORNICATED’ knowing I wasn’t married to the person, I felt troubled, like a part of me was taken away afterward.
“I struggled for a while, but I kept praying for strength, and when the time came, I disengaged from all lingering connections at the time. It hasn’t been easy, especially when I travel, and these clean girls start getting funny around me. Promoters never make it easy, either, but now they know. I am keeping this bed for ONE now,” he added.
