Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has attributed his ongoing feud with Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, to jealousy. The two have exchanged heated words on social media over the past weeks.
The feud escalated after Burna Boy reportedly facilitated the arrest of fellow singer Speed Darlington. Speaking on Channels Television’s Rubbin Minds on Sunday, Chief Priest claimed that Burna Boy’s actions stemmed from jealousy over his close relationship with singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
“My whole issue with Burna Boy started because he was jealous of my relationship with Davido,” Chief Priest said. “He wanted me by his side, but I chose to work with Davido. Me and Davido have never discussed anything about Burna Boy.”
He further noted, “Davido isn’t the type to waste his time discussing his colleagues. It’s always them imagining things and trying to drag us.”
The controversy deepened after Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of having an inappropriate relationship with American music executive Diddy to secure a Grammy, which led to his arrest.
