Offset has made a new request in his divorce proceedings from his estranged wife, Cardi B.
The 33-year-old rapper is seeking joint legal custody of their three children—six-year-old Kulture, three-year-old Wave, and their six-month-old daughter.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Offset believes Cardi B’s home should serve as the children’s primary residence.
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, is also requesting that the court clarify each parent’s child support responsibilities.
Additionally, he is asking for the couple’s marital assets to be divided by the court and for both parties to cover their own legal fees.
Offset and Cardi B have had an on-and-off relationship for years. Last summer marked the third time the Bodak Yellow rapper filed for divorce.
Cardi, born Belcalis Almanzar, announced her pregnancy on August 1, just one day after filing to dissolve her marriage to the Migos member.
She previously filed for divorce in September 2020 but withdrew the request two months later.
A representative told People last summer that the latest filing was “not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.”
A friend of Cardi’s also told the outlet that the divorce had been “something they had been discussing and talking about for a while.”
“It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, she woke up one day, some incident happened, and this was it,'” the source explained. “She’s been very calm about everything and focused on her kids.
“She is excited about this new baby, and she’s recording, so everything with her is actually pretty good.”
The insider added that the couple had been facing issues for “at least a year or so.”
