Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen delivered a remarkable performance, netting twice as Galatasaray secured a commanding 5-1 victory over Kayserispor in their Turkish Süper Lig clash on Sunday.
Osimhen wasted no time, opening the scoring in the 4th minute with a clinical penalty to put Galatasaray ahead. However, Kayserispor equalised in the 14th minute when Stéphane Bahoken scored off a Kadir Yılmaz assist.
Galatasaray reclaimed the lead in the 29th minute through Barış Yılmaz, who found the back of the net to make it 2-1 by halftime.
The visitors dominated the second half, with Yunus Akgün increasing the lead in the 51st minute, thanks to a well-placed assist from Abdülkerim Bardakcı.
Osimhen struck again in the 71st minute, finishing off a perfectly timed assist from Akgün to make it 4-1. Barış Yılmaz wrapped things up in the 87th minute with his second goal, assisted once more by Akgün, sealing an emphatic win for Galatasaray.
