Tems and Rema Featured on Obama’s Summer Playlist

by Admin

Former United States President Barack Obama has unveiled his annual summer playlist.

Among the highlighted tracks are contributions from Nigerian music sensations Tems and Rema, along with South African vocalist Tyla.

The former U.S. leader selected Tems’ “Love Me Jeje,” Rema’s “Yayo,” and Tyla’s “Jump” featuring Gunna and Skillibeng as his top African tunes for the summer.

At the top of Obama’s playlist is Nigerian-American country music artist Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

Revealing the playlist on X this Monday, Obama said, “With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!”

The playlist showcases a wide range of tracks from various artists and genres across the globe.
