Nigerian singer Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya, has unleashed his fury against sellers of counterfeit alcoholic beverages. The frustrated singer, seemingly a victim of a scam involving fake alcohol, expressed his strong condemnation towards those responsible.
In a post on his social media handle, Timaya vehemently stated, “It will never be well with people that sell fake alcohol. Amen.”
This incident brings to mind a similar situation last December when singer BNXN, also known as Buju, publicly called out a lounge for selling him adulterated and counterfeit alcoholic drinks at the same price as genuine ones. BNXN emphasized the critical importance of establishments respecting their customers’ health and hard-earned money. He issued a stern warning that if such deception occurred again, he would personally intervene during performances to expose the deceitful practices.
The incidents highlight growing concerns among celebrities and the public about the prevalence of fake products in the market, underscoring the need for stringent measures to safeguard consumer rights and ensure product authenticity.
