Victor Osimhen wins the Italian Association’s Footballer of the Year award

by Admin

Victor Osimhen has been named Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) Footballer of the Year.
Osimhen won the award following a marvelous season with Napoli.
The 24-year-old played a pivotal role in the Partenopei’s title success, their first in 33 years.

The Nigeria international scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances for Napoli.
Despite a tough start to the 2023-24 campaign and recent struggles with injury, Osimhen has continued his impressive goals-per-game ratio, with six from 10 after the 14th gameweek.
The likes of Rafael Leao, Gianluigi Buffon, Cristiano Ronaldo, Andrea Prilo, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the award in the past.
