Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, fiercely responded to music mogul Don Jazzy following a jab thrown at him by Mavin Records’ Ladipoe. Ladipoe, a rapper under Don Jazzy’s wing, recently taunted Wizkid over his controversial remark about the demise of hip hop.
“Nigerian rappers who weathered ‘hip hop is dead’ witnessing Afrobeat artists facing their own trials,” Ladipoe expressed via X.
On Monday morning, a fan brought the shade to Wizkid’s attention, but the Starboy chief dismissed it with a nonchalant “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.” Additionally, he shared two tweets implying that he viewed Don Jazzy as more of a social media influencer than a music industry figure.
