Gala fans ready to pay for Osimhen as United renew interest

by Admin

As transfer rumours around Victor Osimhen continue to grow, some Galatasaray fans have expressed their willingness to financially support the club in signing the Nigerian striker ahead of next season.

Osimhen, on loan from Napoli, has been a standout performer in Turkey—scoring 22 league goals and 31 across all competitions—helping push Galatasaray closer to their 25th league title.

Napoli value the 26-year-old at €75m and are expected to sell him this summer, with clubs from England, Spain, and Italy showing interest.

Despite becoming a fan favourite, Galatasaray’s current financial situation makes it difficult for the club to secure Osimhen permanently. However, passionate supporters are eager to find a solution.

“If necessary, don’t make any transfers for two years. Spend all the money on Victor Osimhen. Also, start a campaign, and the great Galatasaray fans will provide as much financial support as they can,” a fan account, Grande 1905, posted on X.

Another fan, Inan Deniz, shared his personal story: “I had a workplace accident, lost my finger, and received compensation; 10 thousand was taken from my compensation.” He said he would still be willing to contribute to help keep Osimhen at the club.

Erdem Yavaş added, “I think there’s no need to gamble, we should sign Osimhen and not disrupt this chemistry. Galatasaray, you won’t find another striker like this, no need to take risks.”

Ahmet Tekeli also suggested strategies for the club to secure the deal: “Osimhen’s contract with Napoli ends in June 2026. A one-year loan extension should be requested, or the €65m fee could be paid as salary over four years. The team’s internal dynamics also need to be managed.”

Osimhen has embraced the Galatasaray fanbase since his arrival, thanks in part to his impressive performances. His 31-goal tally this season puts him just four behind Marcel Jardel’s record of 34 goals—the most by a foreign player in a single season for the club.

Meanwhile, Manchester United remain keen on signing Osimhen. According to TuttoJuve, Reuben Amorim’s side are reportedly willing to meet his €75m release clause and have offered him an annual salary of €15m (£12.8m). However, the deal is said to be progressing slowly due to some hesitation on the player’s end.

With Osimhen’s goals driving Galatasaray to the top of the Turkish Super Lig and into the Turkish Cup final, his future remains a hot topic for fans and clubs alike.
