Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared her experience of coming to terms with her privilege as the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola.
The disc jockey admitted that she initially didn’t realise she came from a wealthy background. However, she now understands that what once felt normal to her is something others deeply wish for.
Taking to her X handle, she wrote:
“Growing up, I didn’t fully realise just how privileged I was. I never had to worry about anything.
Thank God I see it now. What felt normal to me is something someone else is praying for. Gratitude changes everything.”
