The African community in Helsinki were in shock over the demise of a Nigerian named Marley Biose who hailed from Edo State, Nigeria.  He died in the wee hours of Saturday 17th March 2018.

According to reports, late Marley was speaking with his wife who is based in Nigeria, all of a sudden his wife couldn’t hear what he was saying and later on he went mute, that was when she suspected that something bad might have happened to her husband who was processing her papers to enable her come over to Finland from Nigeria. The wife who was pregnant as at that time and has put to bed tried to reach him back but to no avail.

However, at the break of day, she called one of Marley’s friends and explained what happened while speaking with her husband and she urged him to go to his house and check on him.

The friend had to call Marley as well but there was no response, that was how the police was alerted and they went to his apartment and after several knockings on the door, they had no other choice than to break the door and when they gained entrance into the apartment “Marley was seen lying lifeless on the ground”

Marley had two kids with a Finnish woman before they parted ways. The negative decision from the Finnish Immigration may have attributed to his death. He wanted his wife in Nigeria to move to Finland and have her baby and together they will live as one big family

His wake keep was held on April 6th , 2018

May his soul continue to rest in peace
