A Nigerian man, known as Young C, ignited a frenzy on social media on Wednesday, May 8, when he undertook the daring challenge of being buried alive in a coffin for a full 24 hours.
Taking to his Instagram page, Young C announced his intention to livestream his experience from within the coffin during the night hours. Sharing a video on his Instagram account, he declared, “I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake. And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night.”
In a subsequent update, Young C disclosed that he had already endured over 8 hours of being buried and was grappling with physical discomfort, notably excessive sweating. “Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. As you can see, my camera is still rolling, and I have my light down there, I am sweating, guys.”
Further updates from Young C revealed that he had begun to experience intense heat, with his primary concern being the battery life of his rechargeable fan. He also displayed a container he had been using for urination since commencing the challenge.
