Jude Okoye, the former manager of the defunct P-Square group, has addressed the recent controversies involving group members Peter and Paul Okoye.
The latest crisis became public when Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, revealed in an interview that the group had broken up again and accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), of involving him and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, in a case with the EFCC over alleged fraudulent activities.
In response, Peter Okoye wrote an open letter accusing Paul of damaging his reputation and alleging that both Paul and Jude had conspired to defraud him.
During an Instagram live session, Jude Okoye dismissed Peter’s fraud allegations, claiming that Peter had distorted the situation to make it appear fraudulent. He also suggested that Peter dragged him into the controversy because he expected to be blamed for not resolving the dispute between his younger brothers.
Jude Okoye commented, “These people [Peter and Paul] have teenage children. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers by now. Why does Peter always involve me in their fights? It’s because he believes people expect me, the elder one, to ‘settle the family’ and put things in order. What do you mean by putting the family in order? My family is in order. If they are in business together, they should sort it out themselves. I have done my best and even sacrificed myself.”
