Timileyin Ajayi Confesses: ‘I Don’t Regret Killing Salome Adaidu; She Was Cheating’

Timileyin Ajayi, 32, was apprehended with the severed head of Salome Adaidu and has shockingly admitted that he has no regrets about her murder, claiming she was unfaithful.

Speaking to Channels TV, Ajayi explained his actions:
“I killed her because we didn’t have each other all the time. It wasn’t something I planned—it just happened that day. I discovered from her phone that she was chatting with other men. That’s why I decided to act.

“I don’t regret it because life is reciprocal. You must understand what the other person is going through. That’s why I feel no remorse; I thought we were compatible.”

Family Denies Knowing Ajayi

Salome’s family has refuted any claims of a relationship between her and the suspect. Her elder sister, Esther Adaidu, pleaded for justice:
“This so-called Timi guy, we don’t know him. We’ve never seen him before this tragedy. I demand justice because he admitted to killing my sister.”

Salome’s uncle, Samson Adaidu, described the gruesome details of the crime:
“He butchered her into more than 50 pieces, leaving them in six polythene bags. It looked like he was preparing the body for consumption.”

Police Assure Justice

Salome, 24, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving in Abuja, had visited Ajayi at his residence in New Karshi, Nasarawa State, when the tragic incident occurred.

The Nasarawa State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, assured the public that justice will be served:
“An investigation is ongoing, and once concluded, the suspect will face prosecution. We urge anyone with complaints against the suspect to come forward.”

Salome’s brutal murder has sparked widespread calls for justice, with the police vowing to ensure accountability.
