What you need to know about the new Namibian Ambassador to Finland

The former Namibian Ambassador to Finland, H.E Bonny Haufiku rounded up his ambassadorial duties in November 2019. He would be remembered for the impact he made and the colossal contributions towards the growth and unity of the minority African community in Finland.

On Thursday, 18 March 2021, President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö received credentials from the new ambassador of Namibia to Finland, H.E. Charles Josob.

H.E Charles Josob is the second Namibian Ambassador to Finland since the inception of the embassy.

He was the former High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana from January 2015 – December 2020 (6 years)

He holds a master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development. 1998-2000.

 Since his arrival, he as familiarized himself with other African ambassadors in Finland and those from other continents and has visited some Finnish companies and organizations that have interest in Africa.
