TB Joshua was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.
Until his death, he was one of the most popular African pastor and one of the wealthiest. His popularity cuts across all the continents of the world but most especially in Africa and Latin America.
His death has been announced by the church on their official Facebook page.
